# `Dmn.Extension.Dmn11Types`
[🔗](https://github.com/FeeJai/BDM/blob/dmn-v0.1.0/apps/dmn/lib/dmn/extension/dmn_1_1_types.ex#L1)

The names that DMN 1.1 gave the date and time types (`:dmn_1_1_types`): `dateTime` is `date and time`, `dayTimeDuration` is
`days and time duration` and `yearMonthDuration` is `years and months duration`. DMN 1.2 renamed them to what FEEL calls them, and
`feel` knows only those; the models of the DMN TCK of that time (0007, 0036) still write the old ones.

With the extension on, a `typeRef` of one of the names reads as the type, wherever a `typeRef` is read (an input, a decision, a
business knowledge model, a column of a table, a parameter of a function, an item definition, the models that are imported too). A
model that defines an item definition of the name gets its own type: `dateTime` can be a record there (DD-28).
